You don’t have to sacrifice comfort for lightness when it comes to your socks – that was what ASSOS set out to prove with its RS Socks.

 

To create an ultra-light sock that’s as comfortable as it is supportive, ASSOS took a hard look at the yarns themselves.

 

Testing in warm-weather conditions eventually led to the material it calls Hydrogen. This buttery-soft microfibre is blended with Lycra to deliver a light compressive hold along the foot, ankle, and lower leg using a seamless construction.

 

From there the designers targeted the arch, wrapping it with a ribbed band of airy mesh for more support and added breathability, along with a contrasting band along the Achilles for a clean finish.
